Renter Terms and Conditions — Kenya Addendum

Effective Date: 1 January 2025

This Addendum supplements the Renter Terms and Conditions for rentals fulfilled in Kenya.

1. Minimum Age

The minimum age to rent in Kenya is 23 years.

2. Licence Requirements

A valid Kenyan driving licence or an International Driving Permit is required. Foreign licences are accepted for up to 90 days.

3. Insurance

All vehicles are covered by comprehensive motor insurance as required under the Insurance Act (Cap. 487). Third-party liability is included at no additional charge.

4. Traffic Fines

Renters are solely responsible for any traffic offences committed during the rental period. Otto may charge an administration fee for processing fines on a renter's behalf.

5. Governing Law

Rentals in Kenya are governed by the laws of Kenya.
